The Project

Casey is a Makeup and Beauty Artist in Kitchener - Waterloo, ON. She approached me bravely as my first web design client in early January 2020. She had an existing Squarespace website she designed on her own a few years before. It was mainly a spot to showcase her portfolio and pricing but did not do her talent justice, strategically sell her services or evoke a connection with her visitors.

It was time to uplevel and create a website that felt like her, spoke to her clients and made it easy to connect and schedule her services.

We added Acuity scheduling so clients could now book appointments directly online and I also included a detailed contact form and an FAQ section. All of these features will help alleviate frequent messages on Instagram, Facebook, texts, and emails which take up a lot of time better spent working on other areas of her business or spending time with her family.
