The Project
This Kitchener - Waterloo real estate brokerage is an established and well-respected family-run business that prides itself on a high-touch and exclusive, yet approachable experience for its clients.
After more than a decade on WordPress, it was time to move to Squarespace to put the control back in their hands. It had become increasingly difficult to maintain and often had to work with developers to make small changes and additions. With a new website in the works for more than a year, John came to me to bring their new Squarespace website to life.
We began with a mini-brand session to freshen up the look and migrated their existing Real Estate News blog and Neighbourhood bio’s over to Squarespace to re-build. The next phase involved building out the 20 most recent MLS listings in a Portfolio section with a more detailed and aesthetic experience and no longer using the MLS integration. Upon completion of those core pages, we finalized the website with detailed Services pages and more extensive About & Contact pages.
Overall, they came away with a more professional image, a website that provided a better user experience for their website visitors including more detail on how they best serve their clients, and an easy-to-manage back-end to keep up to date on their real estate listings and real estate news blog.
